Ms. Beji George is currently working as wound care nurse in SKMC since 2009. She is a BSN degree holder from India. Beji has completed the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course from University of Toronto, Canada. She has extensive experience in surgical field. She has a Certificate of Wound Care academy from the University of Hertfordshire. She received excellence award from surgical ward SKMC in 2008 and patient care excellence award in wound care in 2012 from the Executive nursing leadership, SKMC and Cleveland Clinic. She has a passion for wound care. Beji says, “My Journey as a nurse has led to opportunities that I could never have imagined when I began nursing over years ago. This has truly provided me with the best of all worlds, true autonomy, the opportunity to collaborate with experts in all walks of the life and most importantly, the opportunity to positively affect the lives of patient and their families”.
